Infant Staff
Our exceptional Infant staff consistently go above and beyond their roles as caregivers. Each teacher understands that, for infants, the caretakers are the curriculum. With this in mind, they focus on creating warm, loving environments where every baby feels safe, secure, and nurtured.

FAQs About Our
Infant Program
What is the monthly tuition?
Monthly tuition is broken down by age groups and abilities/special needs. Please allow our program director to discuss rates with your family. Tuition is due monthly by the 1st day of the month in which your child will be enrolled at Emerson Academy. There is a 10% sibling discount, applied to the tuition of the oldest child. Part-time options are available for children from infant to Pre-K.
What would I need to bring for my infant daily/weekly?
Daily Needs: • 1 clean bottle and nipple for each feeding (plan for at least one extra feeding) • Formula or breast milk for the day (You may want to send enough for the week. You also may bring in extra frozen breast milk—there’s a freezer in the infant room) • Jar food/infant cereal/finger food (if at this stage). You may want to send enough for the week. • Sippy cup (if using) Weekly Needs: • 1 full package of diapers / diaper rash ointment • 1-2 packages of wet wipes • 2-3 changes of clothes (size and season appropriate) • 1-2 pacifiers (if used) • Sunscreen for stroller rides and outside play (weather permitting)
How do you keep track of feeding?
In the infant room we have a Feeding Instruction Sheet which must be updated monthly for each child. If there are no changes, you may simply sign and date the sheet. Any time your child’s feeding schedule changes (for example, they start eating solid foods) we ask that you fill out a new Instruction Sheet. Please use the online infant feeding sheet to fill in the details.
